Honest hourly rates with no call-out fees and no hidden extras. You see the price before we start, and you pay by card when the job is done — or by monthly Direct Debit on a regular maintenance plan.
Standard Hourly Rates
All rates are per hour, with a one-hour minimum charge, then billed in 15-minute increments — except gardening and external cleaning, which are quoted per job with a bespoke quote upfront (same-day external cleaning call-outs are £95 per hour), and boiler servicing, which is one fixed price for the full visit. No call-out charge.

When You Call Matters
Our standard hourly rate is the same seven days a week. Only evening and overnight work costs more — here is the exact hourly rate for every trade.

All prices are per hour + VAT, with a one-hour minimum. Emergency response is available 24/7 across London & Surrey, and we aim to be with you within the hour.

Q.How do you calculate the final price?
We charge a transparent hourly rate with a one-hour minimum charge, then bill in 15-minute increments after that. A few things work differently: gardening and external cleaning are quoted individually per job, with a bespoke quote and the price agreed before we start — though same-day external cleaning call-outs are charged at £95 per hour — and an annual boiler service is one fixed price for the full visit, the same price included in every CS Home Cover plan. There is never a separate call-out fee.
Q.Do I pay for travel or a call-out?
No. We do not charge call-out or travel fees within our London and Surrey coverage areas. You only pay for the engineer's time spent on your job.
Q.What about parts and materials?
Any parts are supplied at trade price plus a fixed 30% margin and listed separately on your invoice, so you can see exactly what you are paying for. Nothing is ordered without your approval.
